Description:

The UBD EntreMasterclass is a flagship short course designed to cultivate entrepreneurial thinking and innovation within the UBD community. In its introductory rollout, the course was made compulsory for all UBD staff across various job levels, with participants receiving a Certificate of Completion upon successfully completing the program.

The course provides foundational knowledge of entrepreneurship and encourages a proactive, opportunity-driven mindset. Participants are introduced to practical tools such as the Design Thinking Canvas and Entrepreneurial Mind Canvas, and are guided to identify real-world challenges, develop user-centric solutions, and apply ethical problem-solving to drive meaningful change.

Recognised for its innovation and impact, UBD was awarded the 2025 Babson Collaborative Spotlight Award at the Babson Collaborative Global Summit in Paris. As part of its future development, the program will also be made available to external organizations seeking to build entrepreneurial capacity within their teams.

  • Develop an entrepreneurial mindset by identifying and evaluating real-world challenges & scenarios.
  • Develop innovative solutions to real-world challenges using the Design Thinking Canvas.
  • Evaluate entrepreneurial mindset using the Entrepreneurial Mind Canvas to identify areas for growth.
  • Apply ethical reasoning and problem-solving skills to evaluate and solve real-world entrepreneurship challenges.
